Andrew DiFranco and his now-wife Kim originally met when both worked at a pizza restaurant in southern New Hampshire. The manager trained DiFranco how to make pizza and Kim, who came from a family of restaurateurs, was a server and bartender.
But it was always DiFranco’s dream to open up his own restaurant, he said. Together, the couple have done just that.
“Since I started working there, I knew I wanted to open up my own,” said DiFranco, who managed the business on weekends while going to school.
The two are now using their restaurant expertise and years of experience in opening Wrap City Sandwich Company, at 1280 Osgood St., North Andover. The shop, which opened at the beginning of December, is next door to Liquor Junction and across the street from Barker’s Farm Stand.
