A lot has happened on the Merrimack College campus the last dozen or so years, coinciding with a new president.
Most of it having to do with “more.”
More new buildings. More majors. More degrees. More students. More on-campus stores. and more elite rankings among top academic schools in New England.
But when it comes to athletics “more” might not be descriptive enough in terms of student-athlete participation, the numerous sports offering, fans on campus, national TV exposure and, well, overall buzz.
A little over four years after officially beginning its move from Division II to Division I and the Northeast Conference, Merrimack athletics will be going to a new home in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) beginning in the fall of 2024.
